How it works

HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) works by delivering concentrated ultrasound energy deep beneath the skin’s surface to heat targeted tissues and trigger a natural healing response. The device sends high-frequency ultrasound waves to precise depths—typically 1.5mm (upper dermis), 3.0mm (deep dermis), and 4.5mm (the SMAS layer, which is the foundational muscle-covering layer adjusted during surgical facelifts).
